If you are a scientist, make sure you are sitting, before following the link below:

[0912.3934] Lunar Laser Ranging Test of the Invariance of c http://tinyurl.com/37p294z

After reading that, how do you feel about this chap saying the LTI 20-20 is working OK?

Was the lunar ranging done with a LVi 20-20?.

I'll take that as a "no" then.

... though "yes" would make a better story.

Interesting, although it will only become very interesting if the experiment proves to be repeatable by others.
If this is validated then it's going to throw a lot of other theories out of the window.

So do you think this work might be correct?!!! :)

Makes you wonder how GPS systems ever worked!

No, actually I'm highly sceptical of anything which suggests that we may need to turn some of our laws of physics upside down.
However, if it's actually proven to be correct then it'll be a different story altogether - I'm just not holding my breath

if this were right, it would be big news by now. :)

I do wonder, though, if the LTI 20-20 industry regret using this person as their expert.

OTOH, and not necessarily saying or implying anything about this particular case, just because someone is wrong about one thing doesn't imply that they're wrong about something else.
Having said that, I do strongly believe that this particular gentleman is wrong on both counts.

It is true that we all make errors, and an error in one place does not imply an error elsewhere. However, this is the mother of all errors, and should worry you about other work, I would suggest. Note, he does seem to think that most of modern physics is very wrong.

Also, he is considered an expert on the LTI 20-20 because of his research in the area.

I know. I just wanted it to be clear to the non-scientists here!
