It's not just roads been targeted by Speed Limits and cameras. Lake Windermere is to have a speed limit of 10 mph! I suppose the Park ranger will be patrolling In his boat with his Speed Gun.

Gibbs Technologies has launched its 'Humdinga' concept vehicle - a full time four wheel drive High Speed Amphibian (HSA). Powered by a 350 BHP engine, the 5-seater 'Humdinga' is capable of travelling on land at 100 mph and on water at 40mph.

While sweeping up at a serious bike RTC on the A592 Bowness to Newby Bridge road this afternoon, the roar from the lakes was deafening but exhilarating. I think everyone that has a powered craft of any sort was giving it stick on the lake today.

God help the area when the revenue from these high earners and high spenders filters away from the South Lakes. The economy was in enough decline before it was subjected to this man made free-fall :x :loco: :?
