Only a strategically placed cone preserved the modesty of the participants in the May picture of the Mynyth Fire Brigade calendar.

"Feeling all burnt out after Xmas? A weeks holiday in Brisbane is just what these people need!"

Topical but sick I know.

I know our local council was supposed to be cutting jobs, but I would have though they would get rid of more chiefs and not just the Indians.

Due to the demise of speed cameras, Swindon council have agreed to replace their "sleeping policemen", with something more effective to slow traffic.

After the success of low impact aerobics, a new dance craze is sweeping across Britain - fuelled by an excess of Christmas Turkey and mince pies.

The SS meet was a resounding success - till the organisers realised that some members were showing a little too much support for the cause .

On impact with a small plastic post, both cars involved in the collision completely vanished.

So as the unfortunate zombies await their ultimate fate down below from a falling police vehicle as it runs off a bridge at 100mph in pursuit of a driver doing 10mph over a 30 mph limit where and when it was safe to do so, there is one desperate zombie member of BRAKE with a message on his forehead in white reading "Speed kills" while others sitting beside him from SS cry “Conditions and circumstances matter!”.

SPLAT!!!

OMG!

Did I just go too far? :P

It's NHS SOH... Think of it as a bit like diplomatic imunity :bunker:

:D

After deciding to treat their staff like they do their customers, Kwik Fit rollout their new quick-n-easy car jack facility.

An errant cone has been 'cone-doned' today for capturing roadside workers and placing them into a hypnotic state. Rescue plans are under-way as after a 'marker' [the lying down white road marker next to the cone] attempted a rescue he was succumbed too. The situation is ongoing.

Is this a "lie in" by Bournmouth SCP staff after the farce in court?

Highway workers had been slated when they painted white lines over a dead hedgehog, claiming it was not their job to remove it.
However, their latest faux pas was altogether more serious, when they spray tarmacd, then painted white lines over several students lying drunk in the road!

or

Council bosses challenged over speed camera efficacy said they did not take the matter lying down.... but were caught out in a sting organised by the News of the World.
