Yep can't wait! Personally I think Jeremy Clarkson is fanstastic, and a real thorne in the side of all this do-gooders and liberally lefties. It's very rare these days that anyone will dare speak up against the politically correct lobby so well done Clarkson!

It's worse than lead, it's graphite - which is carbon (the deadliest substance known to mankind  )

Cheers

Well they found a nice green car for T2000

The car football was classic though.

Yes, I did get the distinct impression that they had been reading these forums - am I right, Jeremy?

I loved the 'bus protest' bit.

Cheers
Peter

Especially when he (Clarkson) said "the cfc's from this bus are enough to fill the Atlantic ocean in three weeks".

I'm sure the green beardies will destroy him after this outburst-they'll be sharpening their carrots and pumping up their bike tyres :D

Regards

Andrew

I'm sure the TG team would have loved to name names (are you watching, Transport 2000) but their legal team would have been advising carefully.

But we all know who they were about, and if T2000 decide to respond then....BRING IT ON!!

I was falling about laughing at last night's prog.

:gatso2: Yeah, :yesyes: last night's programme was great. I thought he would have the ecogeeks choking on their lentil & tofu stew. The bus protest was  marvellous. I'd love to see any out-takes from it though.

I hope they keep on ridiculing the T2000 trainspotting nerds every week.

A great start to a series. Keep it up Jeremy & Co. :rotfl: :steering:

...And...and... they had a tank and a Range Rover...and the tank was from the army... and and they were wearing camo uniforms and everything...and they used the infra red scope...WICKED...and the range rover got really muddy...but it was going really fast...and and... they nearly got him but he JUST got out of the way...and...and...

Get a bit bored of Clarkson when he feels the need to race a tank or army helicopter. Would have loved that when I was 12. Don't like the idea of giving the more rabid environmentalists a valid excuse to think they are more intelligent. If I want to see that I'll hire one of those Crash Bang Wallop 17 videos hosted by erm...Jeremy Clarkson. Or Alan Partridge.

I think Top Gear is at its best when the team are racing each other a la DB 9 versus public transport or the 2nd hand car challenges.

Generally my TV highlight of the week though. :)

Any caravan carnage in whatever form is always very welcome.

The thing I love about Top Gear is that it's not as anal about car details as other programmes and indeed TG in the past. Yes you get all the important stuff about 0-60 times etc, but it's all mixed in with humour and random stuff like tanks. I love cars, but I also know quite a few people who watch it who have no interest in the technical aspects of cars. My girlfriend considers it unmissable, even though she doesn't know her bhp from her mpg's. Even my mother watches it! Clarkson's undoutably the star, but is complemented excellently by Richard Hammond and James May. Worryingly my girlfriend things James May is rather hot  . Richard Hammond should have a great future in television, one of the best presenters around IMO.

He is a great bloke. Spent two days with him and the production crew when they did the 24 hour 2CV race two years ago. 2 days filming for 2 minutes in the program....ah well.

A very genuine bloke, not at all like you think celbs are.

I used to think Jeremy Clarkson was cool!

But....

Why does he not keep his high speed driving skills honed properly, he should be 'Testing Cars' at 90mph in 30 zones and 159mph down the M54.

Take his picture down from the 'Cool Board' this week, and replace it with
PC Mark Milton.
