In the "Manchester" paper - tributes have been paid to tow young friends who died after a motorcycle crash
Dad to be (aged 17

) and his pal aged 24 were riding in thge Openshaw area of Manchester on Friday evening when they crasehd into a woman crossing the road. The motorbike careered into a parked car and the two men suffered fatal head injuries from this impact. The 49 year old woman had some internal injuries which are not life threatening.
Hmm... two deaths due to hitting head at wrong place and pedestrian is not seriously injured. Not a speed- related fatal then - but a very, very tragic "somewhere/from nowhere" COAST error by one or both parties.
The 24 year lad was described by parents as living for his toddler son and pregnant girlfirend, but hobbies included bikes and cars and the 17 year was an outgoing, happy character.
Thoughts and condolences with both families and the pedestrian. A tragic incident.
