Just taken ownership of an MPV. Life officially over.

I'm moving to diesel estate in a few months....the rot has started

I got Clarksons "Heaven and Hell" on dvd for Christmas and talking of MPVs he said:
"When you buy an MPV your telling the world that I've performed my biological function and now I'm waiting to die"

I'm sure it's not that bad!

It does have a rather neat audio system though.

My handy tips:

Make sure to look really smug or really cross, pull out on people, never let anyone out (except other MPV's) and black out all rear windows so we can't see your kids.

Really, we all want to look at your kids

If you fold a row of seats down, it makes a really good hearse.
Of course it helps if the windows are blacked out so the mourners can mourn anonymously!

I had a Renault Espace, and I really enjoyed it. It's not WHAT you drive, but how and WHERE you drive it which makes the experience desireable!!

You lucky b******, some of those can really shift, and they drive like saloons, not like a boat with a dodgy rudder.

After driving some of the diesels I've had in particular the Octavia estate and the C4, I wouldn't go back to petrol.

I'm well and truely a diesel convert. With the kind of mileage I do, getting an extra 10mpg makes quite a saving. That coupled with the fact that my 1800cc TD rover is actually faster than my 1800cc petrol Golf was, I'm not complaining!
