Nah, I just don't indicate where it isn't necessary or beneficial.

Where it is, I do.

I think that indicating on roundabouts very much depends on the situation.
I indicate so as to let the other people waiting to get on to the roundabout know if I am going to cause them to stop or not. Indicating left means I am not going to cross their path (I will leave the roundabout before getting to them), indicating right means that I will be passing their entrance and they will have to give way to me.

If I am in lane 2 of a two lane roundabout (main road going straight on) then I'll give a brief left indication if there is someone aproaching the roundabout who might care to know that I am not going to be passing them.

pet hate - car on roundabout indicating left .
He gets on roundabout indicating right --once on - on comes left indicator ( and it stays on)- is he taking 1st /2nd/3rd exit -- consult crystal ball - and wait - sometimes 1st, some times 2nd and even seen 3rd .
Old uncle he say " if in doubt , stay still" - not chinese , but very good advice 40 year on.

A few points to make here...

Firstly, in the town I did my driving test in there are a few sets of double roundabouts, but one of them is particulary bad. Very few people actually negotiate them correctly, but for purposes of driving test it was important to do them right. I actually found by doing them correctly I was putting myself in more danger. I really didn't appreciate having to do that, as being a young male driver my insurance is through the roof (currently about 2600 for a Ford Ka) and I didn't particulary want to be hit by some uninsured idiot, which would just cripple me... Also the next set requires one to exit in lane 2, which I never liked doing, especially when people were on your right hand side and decided they would like to exit straight from that lane... Very scary...

One of the other things is that for your driving test you're supposed to drive with deliberation and not hesitate... I found that hard, especially at roundabouts, because how can you not hesitate or at least think, 'one day one of these people are going to be indicating left and they're going to drive right into me.'

Another thing is that people can be quite inconsiderate at roundabouts, especially turning right from the left hand lane... That happened me about 2 weeks after my test, which wasn't great, but a minibus almost cut me up... Although this could probably be put down to inexperience, and looking back I should have probably just slowed right down and let him get on, but I didn't think that at the time, and I suppose it all does add to experience...

And finally on this roundabout topic... We have a few multi-lane roundabouts over here in Northern Ireland (I know, we're coming out of the dark ages) and I was just noticing the other day coming up to one of them that the signs on the approach to it were absolutely rubbish, how can the road service expect to not get accidents, especially during rush hour. It's okay for people who drive this road every day, they know exactly where to be, but for someone who doesn't really drive this particular route very often, it's confusing, and it is surprising it doesn't cause more accidents than it does... Maybe I should just put this down to inexperience also, but it again shows the importance of learning to drive, not just to pass a test.

One other thing to add (I know I said finally a while back) is when will the road service learn that it is not a good idea to place pedestrian crossings right after a roundabout...

mikes1988---learners , especialy on test have my sympathy with mini roundabouts - give way to right - yea,yea - i give way to any idiot in any direction - i like to keep my NCB --old drivers proverb - better be a live driver than dead hero .

Now - pedestrian crossings just after roundabouts - thought that was a midlands in england thing - sort of thing you in ireland could joke about ( heard about the roundabout in england ....... come on we know you tell english jokes ( i do - i'm scottish)
3/4 cars off roundabout - with cars trying to cut in on left side - whhops whilst you're watching left mirror to see that plonker aint creeping up left side - lights change and it's anchors aweigh. The purists will say "you should be looking in two directions at same time " - i say - time to get a new set of traffic blokes ( would call them engineers, but engineers engineer - this lot ,well Paul did say that we should try to keep the language mild)
