yeah, there's plenty that do that but in this instance it was going on the jag as the spare was on.

It's a funny old world isn't it? The "law of the land" is quite happy for us to tank around at 70 in the wet on any old crappy remould (of the correct load and speed rating - despite the fact that nobody's allowed to do more than 70) with just over one-and-a-half mm of tread - and even then not all over the tyre...

...but it's "dangerous" to do 80 on new high-spec tyres in the dry!
