I thought I was hearing things on the BBC - Austria is upping the speed limit on a test motorway stretch to the t-t-t ton

Austrian greenies are fuming lentils over it.. but the Austrian Transport chap is not for turning his "Lenker" (handle bars) or even his "Lenkrad" (steering wheel)

Translates as "the Transport Minister wants to go toboganning even faster"



Translates as

Drivers who can afford the petrol can put their foot down firmly on the gast pedal and drive at speeds up 160 kph ((about 100 mph)

As far as Gorbach (who does not subsbribe to the "speed kills" argument of his coalition partners) is concerned - you could drive even faster up to 200 km/h without [sp-sp-sp seeed cameras! [/i]
