Police man holding one tonight

Was doing near 40 in 30 zone

Do they need to pull you over to charge you?

In all normal circumstances the Police will pull you over. But of course camera partnerships won't EVER pull you over.

So if you're sure it was a cop (not a camera) you should be fine.

It depends.

If it is a cop with a hand held gun and there are more than one of them they usualy pull you over. If its a van with tripod and a single guy minding it they probably will not.

Either way you will find out in the next 14 days. Longer than that (if you are the registered keeper) you have got away with it.

Yes. The others are confusing you with detail. (Assuming that this 'cop' was standing at the roadside.)

Aparently, I've heard that they don't have to pull you over

Anyone know any official sites with all the facts and figures

You have had your answer. In all normal circumstances the Police will pull you over. However it is also true that they do not have to pull you over.
