the roadworks around j5 are now all gone but i noticed the SPECS have remained. are they a permanent fixture now or have they been disconnected and are awaiting collection?

What is comical is the SPECS set-up on the M8 between jncts 24 and 21. Heading eastbound the cameras marking the end of the timed section have been placed on the part of the carriageway that is being completely dug up (I wonder how many of the JCB's when they are removed from the site will flag up an average speed of a few miles PER DAY!!) There is a secondary set of cameras for catching those heading off the Tradeston exit, but they are pointing at two coned-off lanes...
