Hi All,
i hope you can help me.I am looking to go on a HGV 1&2 course early next year.The reason is i am looking for a change in direction ,i would really like to move to Canada or Aus and i have heard that if you become a Trucker you have a better chance of getting in?
If any of you lads have any info that could help me and my family realise our dreams ,please pass it on.

If you live anywhere near a truckstop, pop in and see if they have a copy of Truckstop news, it is also on the web, try Truckstopnews as a search word.
Canada is available to drivers, but you do need to have experience, and getting experience in the UK can be problematical, in that most insurance companies require 2 years experience.
Try the PDA-UK website as well, lots of help on there, plus a couple of drivers from across the water.
