Just had a NIP for speeding on the A30 outside camborne.the speed sign says 60mph along that stretch but as i passed the camera about half a mile later i was flashed doing 53mph.
Has anyone else been caught out by this camera going towards Penzance and do i have a case for challenging the speed sign?
Any help would be gratefully received.

I would certainly go back and check the speed limit signs very carefully - ideally with a camera. If they are faulty then you should have a cast-iron defence.

Two more points:

- DON'T rush to reply to the NIP. They have given you 28 days. It's a gift. Use it to get advice and decide how you are going to respond.

- Is this anything to do with a speed limit for class of vehicle? What were you driving?
