Excessive or inappropriate speed is considered a major factor in the collision causes here.
Inexperience causes young drivers to overestimate their ability to control their vehicles at high speed.
When finding themselves in trouble they lack the skill to recover.
So, lacking skills, you will learn them how?
SLOWING DOWN to a speed where you wont need them? Apart from urging back seat passengers to belt up, and beware of prescription drugs, there is NO educational advice on this page!
Safer Roads for Cumbria will offer you a £60 voucher towards a Pass+ course, if you have recently passed your test. Maybe the CSCP could at least mention this, and give these young drivers some chance of an education!
