If you beat somebody over the head with a glass ashtray, it is a weapon.
If it sat on the table being used as an ashtray, it is not.
There are very few instances of people setting out to deliberately run down a victim with intent to kill, so to describe a vehicle as a weapon is wrong in nearly ALL cases.
HOWEVER if it WERE a weapon, then a speed camera is the wrong tool for preventing it's use!
Under what circumstances would gun crime be combated by cameras and penalties sent out by post a week later?

But as said .. things only become "weapon" when used with such intent by a "human" being
I think the speed cam ist a weapon against driving licences when set at too low a tolerance They zap our cars at lower than speed limit. Papa remark on that when running me into Keswick centre yesterday. It has the tinted glass .., I prefer it not to be tinted so they see my funny face pull at them.. Grrrrrr! I not been cleared to drive as "fit" yet .. which ist a bind.. but then I have to practise what I've been preaching for 5 years ..

(I am pumping the iron brews.. Urgghhh! und having to follow orders for once.. ho-hum miaow! I cannot even ride a bike as this too much
