The remaining carrier is going, along with its aircraft. Which leaves no fleet air arm....
They were designed with no catapults and the F35 will, apparently, not be able to use vertical thrust without damage to the decks. So it's a rolling take-off and landing.
Oh well, soon it'll be: FALKLANDS II, THE ABJECT SURRENDER
I gather from various Ministers that I have heard state that there is a helio fleet air arm that is to carry on.
I have heard that they have already placed an order for the aircraft but who knows I hadn't known about the catapults so maybe it is all a bit pointless. I do wonder why we are de-commissioning the VTOL aircraft.
The Falklands have a new airfield, troops and various jet fighters patrolling and defending.
I question that Council works are receiving pay increases but troops / forces have not.
I think it is good that many things have price tags that are to be questioned. I think Council's spend money like it is going out of fashion and it was time that they bought value for money and looked for proper prices. They just charge it onto us all and keep expecting us to keep forking out, but frankly for what they 'give' it is highly questionable IMHO.
