maybe being a little premature, but with the impending budget cuts, should there be a forum for redundant camera operators to tell their tales

The cuts are in service provision, you have already paid for them so now you won't be getting them.
The "quango" cuts are mainly in the privately provided ones, so not much reduction in public servants there.
The forces cuts seem to be a bit more interesting.
The remaining carrier is going, along with its aircraft. Which leaves no fleet air arm.
The new carriers will not be ready for 5/10/15 years, if ever, and will have no aircraft to fly anyway.
They were designed with no catapults and the F35 will, apparently, not be able to use vertical thrust without damage to the decks. So it's a rolling take-off and landing.
Oh well, soon it'll be: FALKLANDS II, THE ABJECT SURRENDER

56 years after it was decided it was needed, the Bedford Bypass is nearing completion. The last single carriageway length of it.We have the most photogenic mayor though, always being photographed doing nothing

Not of we threaten to send ( or better still ) station Prescott out there

Edit - Just realised Maggie's still on the go - so a double pronged responsive - JP + MAGGIE -
Perhaps what Cameron had in mind "PM insists Britain will remain top military power"

It would be interesting to debate all the aspects of their experiences here, they are welcome.

I gather from various Ministers that I have heard state that there is a helio fleet air arm that is to carry on.
I have heard that they have already placed an order for the aircraft but who knows I hadn't known about the catapults so maybe it is all a bit pointless. I do wonder why we are de-commissioning the VTOL aircraft.
The Falklands have a new airfield, troops and various jet fighters patrolling and defending.

I question that Council works are receiving pay increases but troops / forces have not.
I think it is good that many things have price tags that are to be questioned. I think Council's spend money like it is going out of fashion and it was time that they bought value for money and looked for proper prices. They just charge it onto us all and keep expecting us to keep forking out, but frankly for what they 'give' it is highly questionable IMHO.
