We go to Wales less and less these days. Not seen any improvement in actual driving standards on the occasions we go there either. More proof fromreal experience that driving standards may be slower - but hazard percception are limited to "spot the scam!" and basic COAST principles ppear to be lacking.

I find coast goes out the window when I am driving in a new area with lots of cameras.
On roads I know, I drive concentrating on the important things and automatically slow down, check speed etc. at all cameras without taking too much concentration off the road ahead.
On new roads however I am constantly scanning ahead for cameras, checking speedo and consequently driving in a poorer manner.
Money is tight at the moment, wife made reduntant and third child on way. Fines or unnecessary outlay do make a difference at the moment, hence paranoia and bad driving.

trouble is, that person who died as a result of the numpys that seem to crawl along will be marked down as another death as a result of speeding... further inflating the need for scameras.

Doesn't matter that it's the tavians that are causing it!

Also on a note of arrive deprived... how come on anglesey we have dark blue vans instead of the highly visable yellow ones? sick of people slamming on there brakes when they 'finally' :o see it, although usually not until they've been caught and almost past it.

Brumstroms, his Daughter, his whole police force speed... yet they're all still alive when is this idiot going to realise what his stupid policies are doing? Forget speeding... lets all become Drug Dealers, seeing he thinks drugs are ok!
