Per tonight's Manchester... Rashid Razaq reports on page 10
A teenage boy was left for dead after being hit by a car as he walked his sweetheart to a bus stop. On this occasion - a CCTV cam monitoring the bus shelter caught the secondthe 16 year old was flipped upside down by a motorist on Wellington Road, Ashton-under-Lyne.
Police are hoping the images will track the driver.

The registration is S455 AOU per the Manchester paper and since it is published in the paper I do not think I am infringing any law by naming it in case anyone lurking can trace this guy? It was a Fiat Brava as well per paper.
The car did not stop and continued along Wellington Road. The incident occurred on 30 September..
....Despite CCTV - they have not traced after 16 days?
Pah! Cameras!
Young Luke suffered head injuries and was treated at Tameside General before being transferred to Hope in Salford where he is now in a stable condition and out of ICU and in a recovery ward.
His father is very upset to think someone left him for dead. (:yesyes: as Papa - I know. You would go through hell to protect your kids and wish the most heinous and virulent pox on anyone who harmed them

)
His father urges anyone who has any information to come forward and bring this person to justice.
The police found the car burnt out the day after this incident - near the swing bridge on Plantation Street by the canla in Dukinfield where they filmed the Corrie Killer Finale..... This tells me how effective cameras really are in detecting crime in any case as in "ZERO!"

and it just confirms to me that we need MORE police and NO automation.

The CCTV footage shows just how severe this collision was and we would like anyone who saw this to come forward.
Hold on! The whole point of CCTV surveilalnce is copping criminals

We wish to speak to anyone who saw this car being abandoned and set on fire
Yep ... CCTV cams work - NOT ...

BiB --- MORE PLEASE on road patrolling and some intelligence displayed .... PLEASE! More energy in copping criminals and less in chasing some bloke who tries it on to escape a £60 fine and quarter of licence....

I would personally apppeal to the driver to give himself up and look to his conscience

More than likely an illiterate scrote - high on drugs and drink and with no regard for any authority whatsoever. Some hope!
