What's Up Doc? Hope Wildy and the Kittens are all OK
Can you remember what /where that extreme post was?

he seemed to bait one of the BiBs on there all the time. Think Ted ticked him off over it....eventually.
Would that be the BiB who, in response to a legal Q, gave the opposite advice to DVD, and then boasted about how he misused obstruction laws to penalise motorists for acting within the law?
If there is anything I hate more than hypocriscy, it's hypocritical misapplication of the law (nearly as much as being accused of misquoting and being libelled ! : - )

But he seemed to get a fair amount of long posts himself on his own site at one point - one of the Swiss guys in this family took a look-see at his site - and each thread had a posting made with minutes of each other - all identical and hundreds of pages long - appeared to be a lot of postings to another forum nailed together.... he could not make head nor tail of it ....seemed bit bizarre ......
That would be the cut and pastes from the BBC Nottingham forum (hard copies also received in the post!). Nothing to do with George, of course. Or his mate Dave (the one who lost his foot above). Allegedly the spammer cut and pasted a whole page of the BBC website, including his own log in in the middle, and then cunningly replaced it with Dave's log in so that, on the assumption that at least one person would spot the deliberate "mistake", Dave would get the blame for the spam.
Incidentally, that's the same Dave who apparently lost his foot:

Hi, Nottingham. I'm back. (Don't all cheer at once). Three days after my last post, I was involved in only my second road traffic accident.
At 8.40pm on a road in Lancashire I was approching a right hand bend at about 40mph in a 50mph limited area.
The road conditions were dry, dusk and I had my lights on. The van traveling in the other direction towards me also had his lights on but was doing 72mph (as established by the police afterwards). The driver of the van failed to negotiate the bend and as a result stuck the offside of my car.
My right foot was trapped under the pedels and I had to be cut free. The car was a write off. In hospital my foot was amputated along with 3" of my right leg.
The only cause of this accident was the van driver doing over 70mph in a 50mph zone. He admitted to the police that he belived 50mph was too slow a limit for this road and as a regular user often ignored the limit. He also reviled that he was a supporter of a well known site that advocates the raising of speed limits.
In court he was fined £2500 and costs + points on his licence. I have a bit of compo to come. I have always believed that speed limits are set for a purpose and to ignor them is asking for trouble.
The nearest speed camera was situated some three quaters of a mile to my rear and I have asked for one to be place on this particular bend. I don't hold much hope as no one has been killed in this spot, yet.
It is only a matter if time.

Didn't come into your hospital, perchance?
If he did, I hope you were gentle with him!
